Job Description:
Victims of Crimes Act (VOCA) Project Director
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The VOCA Project Director is responsible for the implementation and
supervision of the provisions of the grant and to provide specific
legal assistance to eligible clients and client groups (hereinafter
referred to collectively as "clients") as a practicing attorney
licensed in Mississippi, in accordance with program guidelines,
priorities, case handler standards, and the Mississippi Rules of
Professional Conduct.
Duties: Responsible for all phases of the following:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must hold a JD degree and be licensed in the State of Mississippi
at the time of hiring ( or become licensed within six months of
becoming employed by NMRLS) and have four or more years of
experience as a practicing attorney. Strong writing, verbal,
analytical, and interpersonal skills are required as well as good
judgment. Ability to train and supervise staff. Any such other
experience, qualifications, and skills as are deemed appropriate.

SALARY/FRINGE BENEFITS:
Salary depending on experience; excellent fringe benefits.
