An exciting new opportunity has just become available as our award winning hospital located in Eastern Mississippi is searching for a Labor and Delivery Nurse Manager to join their fast paced and dynamic leadership team.
As Nurse Manager Labor and Delivery, you will be a vital component of an 100 bed acute care facility that offers a wide variety of care such as women's and children's services, surgical services, emergency care, family medicine, pediatrics, oncology, behavioral health, and so much more! This facility takes exceptional pride in providing the highest standard of care for the surrounding community and is dedicated to offering state of the art and innovative patient care.
With an experienced Labor and Delivery Nursing support staff working under them, the RN Labor and Delivery Manager will have the proper resources necessary to ensure that the department is operating at the highest level and all goals are being met. The RN Manager Labor and Delivery will be supported by an Assistant Nurse Manager and will report to the Director of Women's and Children's Services.
The Labor and Delivery Nurse Manager will be responsible for overseeing administrative and clinical operations, aiding with development of department budgets, staffing and hiring, developing and implementing departmental procedures, and monitoring and evaluating staff performance. This position will oversee 10+ Labor and Delivery rooms and 20+ FTEs. The Nurse Manager Labor and Delivery will be an experienced nursing leader with an acute care hospital Labor and Delivery background.
