Physical Therapy Assistant Location: Meridian, MS Agency: Jackson Therapy Partners Pay: $1,166 to $1,366 per week Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant. You will work with patients recovering from injury or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and remain active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Apply and a recruiter will follow up with the details. Minimum Qualifications Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program. Active State PTA license required to start the assignment in Mississippi. BLS certification required from American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred. Experience with therapeutic exercise, mobility training, and transfers required. Ability to document in electronic medical records preferred. Current immunizations and TB screening per facility policy required prior to start.
