Job Description:
Weyerhaeuser, a recognized leader in the North American wood
products industry, is searching for a Maintenance Manager to
support our state-of-the-art lumber facility in Millport, AL. This
is a key leadership position in Millport's Maintenance and
Engineering Department and reports directly to the Mill Manager.
Millport is a quaint town located approximately 50 miles northwest
of Tuscaloosa, AL. The Millport area is perfect for anyone who

shopping, dining and collegiate activities. Key Functions Develop
and manage all maintenance activities, with the safety of
associates being the highest priority Lead preventive & predictive
maintenance/process reliability Drive improvement of key
performance indicators, continuous improvement of maintenance
functions, and department budget cost effectiveness Facilitate the
development and training of associates including coaching,
mentoring and development Participate and/or lead initiatives for
capital projects Assure purchasing functions follow established
policies and procedures Lead in supporting, maintaining, and
improving processes associated with the computerized maintenance
management system for process reliability Identify safety,
environmental, quality and production issues Collaborate with the
production team to maximize productivity, minimize cost, and reduce
waste Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED (or higher) At least
5 years' experience in a leadership role in an industrial
environment A passion for safety and exceptional leadership
capability in improving safety performance Knowledgeable in the
areas of electrical, mechanical and PLC programming Proven
expertise in preventive and predictive maintenance methods
Knowledge of business and financial concepts Demonstrated success
in managing capital projects Demonstrated results in achieving and
sustaining business goals Ability to identify root cause of
problems and effectively initiate immediate corrective action to
prevent reoccurrence Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and
electronic communication skills Demonstrated ability to raise
performance by building and maintaining positive relationships with
all associates through coaching, development and instilling a
continuous improvement mind-set Strong planning and organizational
skills Proven track record as a leader, demonstrating positive
influence and accomplishments in influencing safety, environmental,
quality, productivity and people development Proficiency in
Microsoft Office, other Windows-based programs and internet skills
Willingness to support a 24/7 operating environment, which may
include weekend and holiday support as conditions require Preferred
Qualifications Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Mechanical or
Electrical engineering, or related field Wood Products maintenance
experience What We Offer: Compensation : This role is eligible for
our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary
range of $106,917-$160,376 based on your level of skills,
qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our
Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 15%
of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two
times that target. Benefits : When you join our team, you and your

Retirement : Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k
plan, which includes a paid company match in addition to our annual
contribution equal to 5% of your base salary. Paid Time Off or
Vacation : We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work
25 hours or more per week with 3-weeks of paid vacation to use
during your first year of employment. In addition, after being
employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue
vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per
year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours and paid parental leave
